ParkeBank Supports Washington Township Rotary Club: How to Get Involved
As a community bank, ParkeBank supports a wide-variety of local organizations, including Washington Township Rotary Club. Many of ParkeBank’s employees participate in community organizations that are special to them. Roxanne Melf, assistant vice president of ParkeBank, also serves as the president of Washington Township Rotary Club. The Rotary’s motto is “Service Above Self,” and the organization strives to help to make our community – and our world – a better place.
For over 39 years, the Washington Township Rotary Club has made a huge impact on various parts of the community. For example, Washington Township Rotarians have sponsored Interact Club for Washington Township High School students and started a Future Act program designed for middle school students. They have also sent students to the RYLA program annually, which allows them to study abroad for one year. Additionally, the club has made large monetary contributions to many organizations in and around Washington Township, ultimately helping improve our community.
Whether they’re volunteering at Mother’s Cupboard, the local Ronald McDonald House, or building awareness of Rotary’s commitment of eradicating polio, Rotarians share the same community-centric values as ParkeBank.
Washington Township Rotary Club continually volunteers it’s time to make our community a better place. Below are a few upcoming meetings to learn about the Rotary and how you can get involved:
